An item linked Groups are used in applications to hold items of the same type together. Nodes are added to a item node group is considered ; Policies are added to be a member of that policy group. For instance; a node linked actions are added to a node an action group becomes ; and users are added to a member of that user group. As When an item added to the group it is considered to be a member of that group it and inherits policies and actions that have been configured all of the capabilities for that groupbeing a member.

These node groups are then linked to policies that are automatically deployed to being allowed at the servershighest level, ''i.e.'' there is no root group. Actions are There is also linked no inheritance from the parent to the node its sub-groups that allows for them . All links need to be run on made explicitly to the nodesgroup for it to take effect.
