2 Why can't I see the 5 minute/hourly data points?

When viewing data it is important to realise that it can be in seen in different levels of granularity. When viewing a a year of data it is shown in daily points. When zooming into a month it will show the data in hourly metrics. And if you zoom into a day it will be shown at the greatest level of granularity that Veloopti holds, down to secondly.
