1 Overview
The Veloopti organisation is where your monitoring configurations are held. They contain your nodes, dashboards, users and monitoring policies. Most people using Veloopti only need one organisation, however you could have more if you like. Nothing is shared between organisations with users able to easily switch between any that they are a member of. It is accessed through a Veloopti user account that has been granted permission to the organisation.
1.1 The organisation owner
The user that creates the organisation is given the role of "application owner". This is a special role that is only help by one user account in the entire organisation. The current owner is able to pass the ownership role on to any user that they choose. This is done by clicking on the organisation name menu item and selecting the "Special Roles" tab
